I never knew that Converse was owned by Nike. It makes really good sense, though. Converse are soo amazingly popular here in Japan now. It seems that ALL the kids (and Matt & Cam) are wearing them!
I LOVE this photo!
If you are ever interested in getting a higher quality Converse that have thicker removable running insoles in them (to prevent the massive knee pain I get from my beloved Chuck Taylors), leather, etc. take a look at the Jack Purcell models. They are more expensive, but they are also of a higher quality. Very very nice...
Off to Ikea.
I love you!
Cam
wow, whoda guessed!
ReplyDeletehows my Camster?
Camming it up around The Big RiceBowl. Hows my Water Goddess?
ReplyDeleteWhat'd you get at IKEA?
ReplyDeleteIs Nike still a problem company as fart as worker exploitation?
I'd hate to be supporting that kinda thing, but i do luv my Chucks!
A round candle, some candle dishes so the wax doesn't drip onto stuff, some ziplocks, two plastic plants (one for the black bathroom that has no light ever), and that's about it... I think. I forget.
ReplyDeleteHeading to bed now (just got out of the shower). Have a good day.
Have a good sleep, Sweety!
ReplyDeleteI love you!
I don't understand the Converse craze.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in school, only the "special" kids wore them, now everyone's wearing the damn things - including my own kids.
lol... I was Ikea yesterday too... GMTA?
ReplyDeleteI passed on the cute round (on sale!) candles... but got four pillows (needed them) and a really cool picture poster with a frame....
Love Ikea, spent a whopping 15 dollars or so...
Japan has IKEA? Dimland must be the only place in the world not to have one.
ReplyDeleteHave to say, I don`t really understand the Converse thang either.
They're cute, you guys!
ReplyDeletePerfect with jeans for a funky , hip and cool look.
And i'm nothing if not hip, cool and funky ;-P
I`d need more than a pair of Converses to look funky and hip.
ReplyDeleteNot true, Nicey!
ReplyDeleteI've seen that full body shot of you ...
Jeans, a black t-shirt and some black Chucks.... Smokin!
You're a hottie... don't try to deny it.
We chicks don't call you Mr. NiceButt for nuthin, yo!
Chucks look especially good on us "less than youthful" folks in good shape as ... well... take it from me, Steve... if you ever meet Jen in her Chucks... you might have a Chuckgasm right there on the spot.
ReplyDeleteSee, I`ve not even heard of a Chuck.
ReplyDeleteAh, just googled `em. Converses.
