Here I have backed up all of the blogs I wrote on Multiply, over the years. They are old, and apparently the images do not get imported, but it was worth a try. Currently I cannot seem to see any posts, but in the Dashboard it says I have over 1200 posts imported here. It may take a while to get this working.

I found the humidex on the net (that thing that gives you a "feels like" temp when you figure in the heat and humidity). On the mercury today will be 33C/91F. Big deal. Toss in 76% humidity, & suddenly we're talking "feels like" 48C/118F! No wonder people die here! And THAT is why wearing business attire in a 30C/86F office with 75% humidity we're all drenched in sweat: 42C/108F!

Let me put in a typical Fukui Summer day and see what happens (no exaggeration here). In Fukui the humidity does NOT go down when it gets hot, which is why it feels SO MUCH HOTTER there.
ReplyDelete38C/100F + 85% humidity (no shit!) = "feels like" 63C or 145F. How's that for livin' da sweaty life.
