I decided to give Large Tall (boring ugly Japanese) Men's shirts and ties a try and bought 5 shirts + 9 ugly ties set for only JPY 7500 online. Even if I give away all the ties that's still only JPY 1500 per shirt, so when they go yellow (and they will), I can toss them away with no regrets! I hate having boring ugly shirts, but since $100 shirts go yellow just as fast as $15 ones, I might as well save some Yen...

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that even though they are talls, they will still be too short in the sleeves. The talls are 88cm and my arms require 91. I can't get anything that length here unless I go custom and pay over 10,000 yen ($100) each. So, I may have to get over my lifelong hatred of wearing stuff that is juuust too short, and suck it up. Or roll it up.

ReplyDeleteIt is so nice seeing the Fillippina's here because although they are very short, they have long legs which make their proportions look great. They have great butts, too. Japanese are 50/50 body/leg so it can sometimes make one feel like one is stepping into an asian version of Jungle Book.
