I got this shirt at 2nd Street.
It's black.
It's mesh.
It's airy & great for summery days (except for the black...)
It's kinda Flashdance-esque in the neck/shoulders area.
It says "John or Dave?"
It made me laugh.
Japanese English T-shirts crack me up.
It cost me JPY 300 ($3).
I THINK I figured out what this shirt is referring to...
Anybody have any thoughts?
I love you!
Cam
P.S. I don't look tooooo bad in it, do I?
John Mayer or Dave Matthews?
ReplyDeleteI'm lost...
"P.S. I don't look tooooo bad in it, do I?"
ReplyDeletewelllll......
Wasn't the "John or Dave" a reference to the Olympic runners from a few summer olympics back?
If not i'm stumped.
Oooo... good guess, Deb!
ReplyDeleteI'd go with that one actually.
Though i think it's a near toss-up, with i slight edge to Dave. IMHO!

ReplyDeleteToo funny, MavisGrind!
Wow, you guys came up with some things very different from what I thought of! Excellent!
ReplyDeleteSo... what was your guess? Or is there an actual answer?
ReplyDeleteEnquiring minds want to know.
If there'd been a Dave in The Beatles, I would have been less confused.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, my first thought was John Lennon and I've got no freaken clue why.
I don't know if there really is an answer... but what occurred to me is that maybe it is referring to Johnny Carson, or David Letterman....
ReplyDeleteooooo... good one, Mou!
ReplyDeleteCould be!
Oooooooooooooo it's could be that, too.
ReplyDeleteNever thought of the late night comedian slash interviewer angle.
As Stefnee said to me, mesh was very popular in the 80s, and that was right about when Carson and Letterman made the shift...
ReplyDeleteI'm off to bed. Good night.
This shirt cracks me up! Totally laughing at Mavis comment.
ReplyDeleteYes, you look good in it.
I hurt my brain thinking of the meaning of the shirt, so.....I Google'd it.
