You simply MUST look up the city of Asolo, Italy in Wikipedia! It is
an amazing ancient city (over 1,000 years old) on the top of a
mountain hill near my friend, Sox, place.
Hiroko was speechless the entire time! (And if you know Hiroko that in
itself is amazing).
We headed to Cornuda to pick up the clever, smart, friendly, sexy Sox
and got a house tour His house is trimming amazing! And best of all it
hasn't been modernized at all so it's quite old inside. He is single
and looking....
Next we went to a cache up in the mountains near his place.
Unfortunately we couldn't find it but spending the time with friends
is what is most important.
And then we drove to Asolo and I started taking a bazllion photos! Too
many to post with blogs at such a late hour as we have to get up in
about five hours.
But suffice it to say that the city of Asolo is amazing! And we found
the geocache site, too. Unbelievable!
Here are just a few shots of the trip. There are a ton more.
The castle at the very top of the hill has ruins from the fifth
century! That means we were looking a stuff that was over 1600 years
old. That blows my mind.
Just look down at the scenery from the castle (actually la rocca, so
not really a castle but more of a sanctuary.
