Spiritual Walk With Me

The Higher Road is more difficult to traverse, yet much more rewarding when you reach your destination.

My friend Dunnster came for a little R&R.
The weather was perfect.
We wandered about the area.

  4. Experience Week

Seven Days That Can Change Your World

Findhorn Experience Week is the ideal way to meet and engage with our vibrant, diverse community. This unforgettable week is an invitation to let go of your limitations, open to love, and to be the change you want to see in the world. It gives you a chance to experience the principles on which the community is based: inner listening, connection with all life, and inspired action.

You join in most aspects of daily life here including working four mornings in one of our departments - the garden, kitchen, homecare or maintenance - giving you many opportunities to practise ‘work is love in action’ and to interact with staff and others in the community. The week also includes meditation, sacred dance, a nature outing and being part of a supportive group, all combined with laughter and love.

We ask that you come willing to participate fully in this rich and active week, to give of yourself and engage with others. Our aim is to create an environment that enables you to connect with or deepen your experience of spirit and to open to transformation within yourself and the group.

Experience Week runs at both campuses of the Findhorn Foundation, The Park and Cluny Hill College. During the week, there are opportunities to visit and work at both campuses.

The programme runs from Saturday to Friday evening, and includes seven nights accommodation and all meals, from the first Saturday lunchtime through until breakfast on the Saturday morning of your departure. Participants should arrive before noon on the first day of Experience Week, so that the group can begin together. Participants need to speak English reasonably well. We offer Experience Weeks in other languages during the summer months.

    Booking Your Experience Week
When you book your Experience Week, please write a letter telling us about yourself, your spiritual background if any, and why you want to visit. (Most people write between one and two pages). You can book using the links on this page, or print out and fax a Booking Form

Please book as far in advance as you can to ensure the dates you prefer, as Experience Week is a popular programme. Please wait for confirmation of your booking before you travel. Please arrange your travel plans so you can register between 10am and 12 noon on the Saturday that your programme begins. It is important for you to be present for the first session of the week, which begins early Saturday afternoon.

Price for Experience Week until starting 25th April 2009:
£ 385 participants with low income
£ 455 participants with medium income
£ 555 participants with high income

Price for Experience Week starting from 9th May 2009:
£ 395 participants with low income

  14. Hi Cam! Since nobody liked this photo enough to comment on it, I thought I would just do it myself!

You're welcome, Cam. Feel free to comment all you like.

Cam, are you sure it's OK to say stuff like that? Some people might take offence.

    Shut up, Cam!

    I'm sorry!

    Baby!

But you need someone on the inside, someone who is sympathetic to the cause.

  16. Thanks! Stefnee and I picked this leather bracelet out for me in Osaka. It is actually just one piece that wraps around and around and around. I wore it around my neck a bit until I shortened it up because my wrists are too tiny for it to fit properly. Happens with watches, too, skinny frail me.

    Thanks for loving this photo!

    I love you!

  17. Jen - Yes, you can tour inside. It was open when we arrived, but after walking around it once, then ready to go in.... it was closed. Drat. I'll have to go back again. It really is a beautiful park around the castle.

    TC - Thanks.
