I just wanted to add this photo to my blogs for those of you who remember skiing at an early age before the advent of safety bindings, ski brakes and more.
These skiis and other wooden ones are on one of the walls in the lobby... they are quite old.
The amazing thing is not their age but rather the fact that I grew up skiing on a pair of the very same skiis as these! Same bindings, colour... everything.
What a ski down memory lane!
