Here I have backed up all of the blogs I wrote on Multiply, over the years. They are old, and apparently the images do not get imported, but it was worth a try. Currently I cannot seem to see any posts, but in the Dashboard it says I have over 1200 posts imported here. It may take a while to get this working.

the basics
ReplyDeletehttp://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/Contexts/Earthquakes/Science-Ideas-and-Concepts/Seismic-waves
soil and stone are solids that can ring like a tuning fork if you hit them hard enough
ReplyDelete*grins* and i'm not your sister
ReplyDeletebecause of the differing compositions of soil and rock resonating at slightly different 'pitches' ....i would have said 'muddy' orchestral triangle
ReplyDeletethe sound waves get there first-the larger displacement motion waves move more mass and get there slower
Its the energy... your tuning into the energy Cam that is all. Easy to explain... remember the vibration of the Monks that time at the temple? OMG now THAT was some amazing vibrating.... I can't help but feel my heart swell when I think of that very moment of time.
ReplyDeletei may surprise you and not completely disagree with you...magnetic fields move at the speed of light, and i'm sensitive to disruptions in frequency on the power grid
ReplyDeletesound waves (and motion waves) trigger displacements in both the power grid and earths magnetic field...some animals are sensitive to it as well
ReplyDeleteYes they are and we know very well our dear Cam is indeed an animal of an unspecified species....
ReplyDeleteThat is why you see sea life beach itself before an event, or flamingos half frozen flying around in Siberia, as they are confused because the rely on that magnetic navigation system of theirs. LOL
Sis - I thought you had a "hot" date with your lover?!
ReplyDeleteI did, I posted the above comment as he was getting ready. Were back home now... in our respective spaces. Sigh..............
ReplyDeleteAh... A "quickie".... I get it. *wink*
ReplyDeleteLOL quickies are never quick around here.
