  1. You are OK food wise right? You have enough to last a few days/ weeks if needed? Can you still go out to restaurants and eat? McDonalds if all else fails? And SBX for coffee?

The sense would be to panic when you see all the shelves bare, but like you said its just people freaking out about not having enough and not that there is not actually enough to go around.

  2. Just heard a report on the radio with two nuclear experts.
One was an engineer who explained how bad the reactors are (the waste is sitting in exposed pools on TOP of teh reactors!)...
And the other was a medical person who explained what the dangers are now. Namely, that radioactive particles such as Cesium are the threat, as they enter the body and are recognized as potassium and taken up by the body. Not good!!!
I didn't get whether potassium iodide capsule will help but I'm guessing they couldn't hurt.

I hope you can get some, Cam.
If it becomes necessary, I certainly hope the US and other nations can get loads of it to Japan to be distributed to the people.
They mentioned that it's likely the workers at the plant and anyone nearby is probably facing radiation poisoning and eventual death.

I've tried everything from meditating to ignoring the news, but nothing's helping much.
I feel .... bad. Just bad.

Wish you would try to leave, but I respect your decision, whatever it is.
    I love you.
