U.S. Department of Energy said that no significant quantities of radiological material had been deposited in the area around the Fukushima plant since 3/19, according to tests on Friday. (http://blog.energy.gov/content/situation-japan/)

  1. This would be the same US Dept of Energy that was established under Carter to get the US off of foreign oil? Yeah.....If I were in Japan I would still take precautions.

    i have no love of government either~but i didn't find anything wrong in the science for that link.
    temporary bans on food imports from japan are a joke anyway cam...you all need everything you've got at the moment...meanwhile media and some politicians are making paranoia hay *blech*
